Think of
Pixeldust
as a 1:1 syrup replacement. Or just think of it as your brand new
secret ingredient
and do absolutely anything you can dream up. Approach
Pixeldust
prep just as you would matcha.
Hot
Add Pixeldust to milk of choice in steaming pitcher. Steam and serve, purging steam wand as per normal.
Alternately, pour espresso shot/brewed coffee/etc. over Pixeldust. Swirl or stir, add any remaining drink ingredients, and serve.
Cold
With Coffee: Pour espresso shot over Pixeldust, swirl or stir, add milk & ice, serve.
With Matcha: Add Pixeldust and Matcha to prep bowl, add splash of hot water, whisk or stir, add milk & ice, serve.
Cold Foam
Add Pixeldust to your liquid base of choice for cold foam or cream top (whipping cream, oatmilk, etc) in the same ratio you’d use for drink preparation (check individual flavor packaging for recommended dosing info). Add to whipped cream canister with one charger, or whip to your preferred consistency, and serve. Refrigerate any leftovers.
Batching
Try batching Pixeldust 1:1 with hot water and dosing it out at ~1oz per serving. It’ll always be most delicious within a few days of batch prep. And remember, Pixeldust is real food, so make sure to refrigerate it.
Storage
Keep the lid on tight between uses.
And, since there are no anti-caking agents, give the canister a good shake if any settling occurs.
